Privacy Policy

Note: This text intentionally describes only the data processing of this new website (no shopping cart, no Google Analytics/WP Statistics like on the old site — none of that exists here). Before going live, please have this reviewed once by a knowledgeable person, in particular the section “Email dispatch via Resend” (a data processing agreement is required) and “Hosting” (provider not yet finalized).

2. Hosting

3. General Information on Data Processing

When you visit this website, the hosting server automatically records technical access data (e.g. IP address, date/time, page accessed, browser type), as is technically standard for every website visit. This data is used to deliver the website and for security purposes (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR) and is not merged with other data sources.

4. Wishlist

The “wishlist” (heart icon on products) stores your selection exclusively locally in your browser (localStorage) — this data is not transmitted to our server unless you include it in your message to us via the inquiry form. No cookies are set for this purpose.

5. Inquiry Form

If you use the inquiry form, we process the data you enter (name, email, optionally phone, desired date, message, and any wishlist items) exclusively to process your inquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures taken at your request).

6. Email Dispatch via Resend

To send the inquiry notification by email, we use the service Resend as a data processor. In doing so, the data you provided in the form is transmitted to Resend in order to deliver the email. 7. Map Display

On the contact page we show a map of Germany with our location. This is a self-colored graphic stored locally on our own server (data source: public-domain map of the German federal states by David Liuzzo / Federal Statistical Office and the Statistical Offices of the Länder, CC BY-SA 2.0 DE). Visiting the contact page does not establish any connection to third-party map services (e.g. Google Maps or OpenStreetMap), no cookies are set, and no IP address is transmitted to a map provider.

8. Video Embedding (YouTube)

On the home page we embed a video from YouTube (Google Ireland Limited) in extended data protection mode (youtube-nocookie.com). According to YouTube, this mode only sets cookies once you actively interact with the video. However, since the video starts automatically (muted), a connection to Google's servers is nevertheless established when the home page is loaded, during which your IP address is transmitted for technical reasons; Google may transfer this data to the USA and link it to an existing Google account. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in an appealing presentation of our work (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR). Further information: privacy policy of Google.

9. Cookies

Apart from the YouTube embedding (see section 8), this website currently does not use any cookies for analytics or marketing purposes. Should further tools be added in the future, a cookie notice with a consent option will be added here accordingly.

10. Your Rights

You have the right at any time to obtain free information about your stored personal data, as well as a right to rectification, erasure or restriction of the processing of this data, a right to object to the processing (Art. 21 GDPR), and a right to data portability.
